This is a rare and sought after Washburn Tanglewood electro acoustic guitar. Made in Japan in 1982. Serial number is 825532
The guitar is not in mint condition. Here's a list of the main wear & tear areas -
1. The Neck at the nut was re-glued 20 years ago due to a crack, it's a very solid repair2. The back of the neck from the nut down has been resprayed but not too well as shown
3. The front of the guitar has been sanded to a matte finish and has a lot of wear & tear from my extensive gigging, it has some small cracks which have been filled4. The frets are quite well worn
All that being said, this is a wonderful sounding acoustic, it has a huge sound and is wonderfully well balancedThis was the top of the line in the Washburn Festival series from the 80s, as it's the full body version The guitar comes complete with the original Washburn hard shell caseThe guitar is in Shrewsbury, and local pickup is available, cash payment also accepted
