Washburn Guitars

You are  bidding on a project Washburn N4 guitar made from a custom shop paduak N4 body and a Paduak neck.  Both these parts were from the Washburn custom shop.  The body itself is highly figured paduak, which you rarely see nowadays with the current N4 paduak line. The neck plate is also a genuine washburn custom shop plate. The rest of the hardware and parts are generic parts which I used from storage to simply put the guitar together to see what it looks and sounds like when built.  This is therefore a project guitar for you either complete using your own spec or use as is.  The parts all fit nicely together.  However, the licenced floyd rose is slightly larger than the body rout, therefore you can either rout it slightly larger, change the floyd for a schaller floyd which will fit the rout snugly, or you can simply use it as is.  I've actually set up the guitar now so it actually plays great and sounds great as is with the floyd simply tightened to the body (pretty much like how EVH had his floyd set up).  The bridge pickup is a Bill Lawrence USA pickup which sounds great. The electrics again have just been put together for the sake of seeing how the guitar sounds, so you can either upgrade the electrics which are currently generic or use as is.  Again, the guitar now plays and sounds great, but I am selling the guitar as a project guitar for you to modify yourself, use as parts, or use as is.
