Up for auction today is a vintage parlor guitar. I have shown it to guitar experts, the maker I have been told Washburn, Lyon and Healy. All I know is that it was most likely built in the 1900-1915 and was a high end guitar in it's day. The top is solid spruce and the back and sides are im sure rosewood i dont know if its solid or not , The neck seems fine i have however noticed the action is higher past the 5th fret . The frets themselves are in amazing condition in my opinion i honestly think that the guitar wasnt played very often. I see no cracks at all or any sign of any repair of anykind other than light surface marks the only damage is the pick wear between the bridge and the fhole other than that VERY NICE SHAPE to be over 100 yrs old i was amazed. The guitar does not come with a case it had a chipboard case but was falling apart. The guitar will be double boxed and very carefully packaged and shipped within two days of cleared payment. Thanks.
The nut is just under 2" wide the saddle is half an inch wide. From top to bottom the guitar is 3ft 1", the neck by it's self is 16 1/2" long, the body it's self is about 18 1/2 " long, the small part of the body around the fhole is about 7 1/2 inches wide.
